Familiar faces once again...

Okay,

So its official now. We won't be completely without familiar faces on the new series "Stargate Universe."

According to the most recent news and the release of the casting for the series, Michael Shanks, Richard Dean Anderson and Gary Jones will all make an appearance on the show, or at least for a few episodes each. (IMDB, 2009)

Whether or not any of the cast-members from Atlantis are going to appear on SGU is still a matter of speculation, but we can only keep our fingers crossed that we again get to see the characters that we have grown to know and love.

"Stargate Universe" is set to appear sometime in summer or fall of 2009.

Theories anyone?

Any theories or thoughts on the show? Given what you know, do you think that Stargate Universe will hold the same appeal as the other series in the franchise or do you see it being the end of the franchise as a whole?
